Nice and cozy place with quiet surroundings ☺ The beach by walking distance, the restaurant and the pool were amazing. Staff was friendly as well. They helped us a lot recovering some chargers we left on the room. ☹ Upstairs neighbors were kind of loud, we could hear them stamping on the floor.

Stunning location with breathtaking view, high-speed internet (not easy to find around there), delicious vegan cuisine, Infiniti pool with mesmerizing vista, modern room infused with the captivating essence of the Oaxaca’s culture. Not to mention its central between downtown Huatulco and downtown Pochutla so shopping is easy and surrounded by so many beautiful beaches.

Absolutely beautiful place where you can see the entire coast from the terrace. Stairs to the third floor were a bit wobbly and Acary for me… Wanted to extend our stay there, but all the rooms were full and booked )-: We will definitely come back here next trip!!!

After searching for a quiet, secluded retreat on the Oaxacan coast, we found Casa Mauna…and what an incredible discovery! We stayed for 8 nights and it truly exceeded all our expectations! The view of the ocean and sunsets from our large terrace, were amazing…especially while lying in the most comfortable hammock with a glass of wine!
The property is stunning, with beautifully designed, spacious suites that immediately put you at ease. The infinity pool was a highlight—perfect for cooling off while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Ewen and Victoria, the owners, are wonderful and have created such a relaxing and welcoming place. It’s clear they’ve put so much love into creating this oasis.❤️
I was excited to try their vegan cuisine, and it was absolutely incredible! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared…it really added to the overall experience.
Casa Mauna is the most relaxing and calming place we’ve ever stayed, and we’re looking forward to returning next year.

Nice small boutique hotel at the beach of Salchi. The apartments were perfect and the view at the beach just great. They offer vegan food which is very tasty. I can highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay here! The staff was so kind, our suite had an incredible view and was really clean. Bed was really comfortable and was so nice to have the hammock. Wish we had stayed for more than 2 nights. Breakfast and the homemade pina colada were also delicious! If you plan on visiting the park or spending time outside of Salchi, would recommend getting a rental car.

Un lugar precioso del cuál no quisieras irte, alejado del bullicio. A unos pasos de playa salchi. Tienes que llegar en carro. Las habitación son amplias, limpias, huele siempre rico y constantemente hacen el aseo. El personal, son súper atentos, amables, serviciales, de verdad hacen tu estancia mucho más amena. Comida totalmente vegana (muy rica) , si quieres algo más hay un hotel que cuenta con restaurante "la manta raya" a dos minutos.

Relaxation in Salchi This hotel is off the beaten path. Very quiet and relaxing. Wonderful breakfast. Deserted beach that is safe for swimming about 3 minutes walk. I loved my stay at Casa Mauna.

The owner is very friendly and has great managing and hospitality skills.
The food is all plant based which is fantastic and the free breakfast is amazing, healthy and filling.
There is a beach nearby.
Would happily stay again- we stayed for 5 days but could have stayed 2 weeks.

Relaxing stay. Very relaxing place to get away from it all with the beach literally 2minute walk down the hill. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly even though our Spanish is questionable. The food at the restaurant was very tasty. I would stay at this slice of Mexican paradise again.

This little cove is a true gem! Beautiful and quiet. The room was lovely, I spent hours on the hammock, the bed was very comfortable, and the rain shower lovely after a day at the beach. It is a quiet area - days are filled with long walks (to neighboring beaches), lounging on
the beach, and sunsets at the pool. The restaurant is great- fresh with good variety. Highly recommend if your looking for a peaceful spot for a few days!
